Aeroponics is the process of growing plants in an air or mist environment without the use of soil or an aggregate medium (known as geoponics).
The basic principle of aeroponic growing is to grow plants suspended in a closed or semi-closed environment by spraying the plant's dangling roots and lower stem with an atomized, nutrient-rich water solution. The leaves and crown, often called the 'canopy', extend above. The roots of the plant are separated by the plant support structure. Many times closed cell foam is compressed around the lower stem and inserted into an opening in the aeroponic chamber, which decreases labor and expense; for larger plants, trellising is used to suspend the weight of vegetation and fruit. The main ecological advantages of aeroponics are the conservation of water and energy.

Assignor hereby assigns to Assignee One Hundred Percent (100%) of its right, title and interest in the invention and IP and any reissues or extensions and for the entire terms of any patents, reissues or extensions that may issue from foreign applications, divisions, continuations in whole or part or substitute applications filed claiming the benefit of the IP. The BAM-FX composition is highly useful as a nutrient additive that enhances a plantâ€™s immune system, may fortify against disease and promotes growth. The basis of which is the ability of the ionized ligand system to deliver selected minerals into a plant or other complex organism systemically at the cellular level.
We are also the licensee of a patent application that pertains to the use of an artificial Superoxide Dismutase (â€œSODâ€) compositions for the treatment of several plant and animal diseases, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as ALS disease). Superoxide is naturally produced by plants and animals, including humans, and its production is accelerated in times of trauma or stress. SOD is produced by the cells to counteract the effects of an over-production of superoxide. Adequate amounts of SOD may increase life-span in humans and may be capable of remediating (and saving) severely stressed plants. This patent application discusses an artificial SOD that can be easily applied and used for treating over-production of superoxide, particularly ALS and other neural disorders. The artificial SOD at issue here is less expensive to manufacture than other artificial SODs and has a significantly lighter molecular weight. Animal and human studies of the SOD are being discussed on an ongoing basis with NASA and academic entities.

Licensee shall have a worldwide non-exclusive license under this Agreement, with no rights to grant sublicenses, with respect to the Funded IP solely to the extent necessary for Licensee to commercialize the DNAP Developed IP, including the right to import, make, have made, use, offer for sale, and sell any product containing DNAP Developed IP.
