The Licensee is pursuing opportunities in the air to water generator industry.

IPSCIO Record ID: 4480

License Grant
The Licensee has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement, a Distribution Agreement, and a Technology License Agreement with the Licensor, a Japanese corporation. The Licensee acquired the global exclusive right (excluding Japan) to make, use, sell or other wise distribute the Manufacturer's atmospheric water generator (AWG) products and technologies. The Licensor has also granted the Licensee an exclusive and perpetual license to any and all of the manufacturer's patents, trademarks and all other intellectual property related to the Manufacturer's AWG products, as well as the global exclusive right (excluding Japan) to assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer such rights.
License Property
The (AWG) atmospheric water generator, is a device that extracts water from humid ambient air. Water vapor in the air is condensed by cooling the air below its dew point, exposing the air to desiccants, or pressurizing the air. Unlike a dehumidifier, an AWG is designed to render the water potable. AWGs are useful where pure drinking water is difficult or impossible to obtain, because there is almost always a small amount of water in the air. The two primary techniques in use are cooling and desiccants.

License Grant
The Licensor granted an Exclusive License Agreement to the Licensee in the field of atmospheric water generation.
License Property
Patented atmospheric water generation technology literally makes water out of thin air, transforming humidity into an abundant source of clean water near the point of use.

The Licensor desires to promote sales of the Commercial Ambient Water 400 units in the State of California. The atmospheric water generation harvests water vapor from the atmosphere, the chills that water vapor to the “dew point”. The moisture then is condensed onto patented, stainless steel or specially coated coils, then channeled through advanced filtering chambers. This water can then be processed and cleaned for human consumption or sent off for commercial industrial applications.

Field of Use
The agreement provides an opportunity for the Licensee to sell the commercial units in California.

The Licensee will have exclusive rights to sub-License, establish joint ventures and to commercialize products through the methods of the Water Conversion Technology.

License Property
The Water Conversion Technology is based on a method of 7 steps consisting of
(1) removal of dirt, sludge and other un-dissolved solids to less than one micron particle size,
(2) ozone is injected into the water to kill the bacteria and viruses and to coagulate the solids,
(3) water then goes through a carbon filtration system, whereby all the pesticides, herbicides, chlorine and other organic chemicals ( carcinogenic) are removed,
(4) water is subjected to UV lighting, enabling all pollutants to be destroyed,
(5) water then passes through a reverse osmosis system, enabling all chlorine and sodium and over 98% of all total dissolved solids (TDS) to be removed.
(6) water is processed through the Water Conversion Technology, where the water is pH balanced to a 8.3 state, without the addition of any substances,
(7) water is processed through the Water Conversion Technology, and oxygen molecules are bonded with the water molecules, making the water oxygen enriched for long periods of time.
Field of Use
The Licensee is obligated to establish water bottling operations by December 31, 2013.  In the event that the Licensee has not established operations by this date, the Licensor has a right to void the Agreement.

Plasma Converter system Powered by electricity that causes the dissociation (breaking apart) of the molecular bonds of solid, liquid and gaseous compounds or materials of both hazardous and nonhazardous wastes (feedstock) organic and inorganic. The operation’s daily output, could be hundreds of thousands Kilowatt hours, millions of gallons drinking water and millions of cubic feet of valuable hydrogen gas for sustainable power generation. In that typical 1000 tons-per-day operation. The PCS is safetly managed by computer and customized as per Project needs assessment.

Solar Power Water Purification system A high volume water purification solution utilizing solar, photovoltaic energy and, when applicable, a mini-windmill or an alternate source of renewable energy. From the sea, lake, river or stagnant, water is passed through several stages of purification and treatment until it is rendered drinkable as per World Health Organization standards. Its innovative design allows its implementation in a challenging geographical locations.

Atmosphere Water Generator Powered by a renewable energy solutions the AWG produces pure potable water from the air’s humidity. The system produces sufficient quantities even at very dry and hot climate conditions. AWG plants can be scaled to almost any size community and/or population.
The machines employed suck in large volumes of air, cool it down to the dew point and collect the resulting condensing water, which is then filtered and mineralized. Through this process, pure drinking water is obtained that meets the quality standards of the WHO.

Seawater, lake water, river water or stagnant water is passed through several stages of purification and treatment until it is rendered drinkable as per World Health Organization standards. In the case of sea or stagnant water, we recommend a treatment via reverse osmosis membranes, which permits the retention of dissolved solids and results in obtaining water of drinking quality. If the water being treated emanates from lakes or rivers, we recommend treatment via an ultrafiltration membrane which functions by retaining suspended materials such as colloids, viruses and bacteria.

Field of Use
Licensee was created to respond to the growing need of drinking water and proposes a water purification solution utilizing solar, photovoltaic energy and, when applicable, a mini- windmill or an alternate source of renewable energy. The system is ready to be built from the Licensor and delivered on demand.

LIMITED NONEXCLUSIVE PATENT AND COPYRIGHT LICENSE AGREEMENT For CAPACITIVE DEIONIZATION TECHNOLOGY For Brackish Water/Sea Water Desalination and Treatment of Heat Exchanger and Boiler Water, Industrial and Commercial Process Water, and Ultrapure Industrial Water

Certain copyrightable works and inventions, characterized as capacitive deionization process using carbon aerogel electrodes and software to automate the deionization and regeneration process.

The Licensed Patents
5,425,858 Method and Apparatus for Capacitive Deionization, Electrochemical Purification, and Regeneration of Electrodes
5,260,855 Supercapacitors Based on Carbon Foams
5,420,168 Method of Low Pressure and/or Evaporative Drying of Aerogel

Field of Use
'Fields of Use' means a)Brackish Water/Sea Water Desalination, and b)Treatment of Heat Exchanger and Boiler Water, Industrial and ommercial Process Water, and Ultrapure Industrial Water.

The Company’s capacitive deionization technology, or CDT, uses deionization to convert a contaminated water supply into a clean water stream and a waste stream.   As implemented by the Company, the technology involves coating pairs of electrodes with a carbon coating known as carbon aerogel.  The carbon aerogel is porous and has an extremely high ratio of ion collection area to surface area, due to the structure of the areogel.  The carbon aerogel is porous and has an extremely high ratio of ion collection area to surface area, due to the structure of the aerogel.  The ion collection area presented by carbon aerogel is greater than 60,000 times the surface area of the electrode. In the Company's system, a salt water or impure water stream is passed through an electrostatic field established between pairs of electrodes coated with carbon aerogel.  The negative electrode attracts positively charged ions such as chloride or nitrate. Those ions are pulled out of suspension of the water stream and held by the electrodes in the carbon aerogel, until either the power is turned off or the electrode charge is reversed. As a result, with a relatively low application of energy, the Company's technology is able to remove a wide variety of contaminants or other molecules from a water stream through the creation and holding of charged particles.
