License Grant
The Canadian Licensor grants the Canadian Licensee, for the term of this Agreement, a License with the right to construct and operate Gasifier Plants, processing any carbon based feedstock exclusively.
The Licensor grants the Licensee the right to market and sell the Produced Products by the Technology to any third party.
The Licensor grants the Licensee the right to market, sell or service the Technology under the Licensee’s non-exclusive License for any product that the Licensee has received approval from the Licensor.
License Property
The Licensor is the rightful and sole owner of the intellectual property for the Gasification process and has the right to license such technology.
Technology shall mean Gasification and/or pyrolitic steam reforming process (PyStR) with all appropriate patents, patents pending and extensions thereto. Technology shall also include subsequent improvements, upgrades or any related enhancements.
Field of Use
The Licensee is a company desiring to be engaged in the business area of Gasification of carbon-based feed -stocks.
IPSCIO Record ID: 173
License Grant
The Canadian Licensor entered into a Licensing Agreement with the Licensee. Under the terms of the agreement, the Licensor agreed to grant licensing rights for the PyStRâ„¢ (a low cost proprietary hydrogen production technology) and gasification technology in the US.
License Property
'Technology' means the Gasification of Creosote-preserved wood that can be used in the Technology that SYNGAS has developed; which includes the PyStr technology to produce hydrogen or ethanol and is in the process of filing patent applications, and shall include any additions, changes, improvements, substitutions and modifications to the technology
Gasification is a process that converts carbonaceous materials, such as coal, petroleum, or biomass, into carbon monoxide and hydrogen by reacting the raw material at high temperatures with a controlled amount of oxygen and/or steam. The resulting gas mixture is called synthesis gas or syngas and is itself a fuel. Gasification is a very efficient method for extracting energy from many different types of organic materials, and also has applications as a clean waste disposal technique.
A new innovative hydrogen generation technology referred to as the PyStR process. PyStR, pronounced 'Pie Star,' is an acronym derived from 'Pyrolitic Steam Reforming.' This process can directly produce high purity hydrogen from biomass and other carbonaceous feed-stocks such as oil sands, coal and petroleum coke.

License Grant
The Licensor will grant an exclusive License to identify and develop projects, and purchase equipment from the Licensor using the Licensor's technology, know-how, intellectual property rights and improvements in the exclusive field in the territory for the term. In the event the Licensor or any third party elects to pursue a project using the technology in the exclusive field, Licensor shall first present such opportunity to Licensee.
License Property
The Technology is the proprietary gasification technologies developed by the Licensor to convert carbonaceous feedstocks to off-take products as defined in U.S. Patent Application Serial No. 12/768,841, plus the know-how.
Field of Use
The term Exclusive Field is the market comprised of gasification projects that use tires and plastics as the sole source feedstock.
IPSCIO Record ID: 5164
License Grant
The Canadian Companies are parties to an agreement with the inventor of the CPJ technology.
License Property
The CPJ technology is a heavy oil upgrading system that can economically convert bitumen and/or heavy oil reserves to lighter, more valuable and more easily refineable synthetic crude oils. Bitumen is the heaviest heavy oil and does not flow in its naturally occurring state. CPJ is a heavy oil upgrading technology that we expect will significantly reduce the costs of upgrading heavy crude oil.
The underlying principle of the CPJ process is to apply an instantaneous thermal shock to the bitumen molecule using superheated steam. The bitumen/heavy oil feedstock is preheated to near its thermal cracking point and contacted with superheated steam in a proprietary injector where most of the reaction takes place.
IPSCIO Record ID: 27247
License Grant
The Company entered into a royalty amendment agreement with thehe inventor of the K-Fuel Technology granted it a non-exclusive right and license ('Partnership License') for the K-Fuel Technology (without the right to sublicense) to produce coal in the Partnership Facility using the Series 'C' technology and to use or sell anywhere the product derived therefrom; technology that enhances the combustion characteristics of coal and other carbonaceous fuels (the 'K-Fuel Technology').
License Property
The K-Fuel Technology uses heat and pressure to physically and chemically transform high-moisture, low-energy per pound coal and other organic feedstocks into a lower-moisture, high-energy solid fuel ('K-Fuel').
IPSCIO Record ID: 29326
License Grant
The Canadian Licensor entered into a Licensing Agreement with the Canadian Licensee. According to the Agreement, the Licensor agreed to grant licensing rights for their gasification technology, which converts waste solid fuel sources into a gaseous form, in the territory of Ontario, Canada.
License Property
Gasification is a process that converts carbonaceous materials, such as coal, petroleum, biofuel, or biomass, into carbon monoxide and hydrogen by reacting the raw material, such as house waste, or compost at high temperatures with a controlled amount of oxygen and/or steam. The resulting gas mixture is called synthesis gas or syngas and is itself a fuel. Gasification is a method for extracting energy from many different types of organic materials.
