License Grant
We granted a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, limited intellectual property license relative to world-to-Internet technology. This is about linking the physical and Internet environments through switching technology that seamlessly bridges these environments.
License Property
PaperClickTM technology that enables users to link directly from the physical to the digital world, as well as the patents surrounding certain physical-world-to-web linking processes.

For example, an Internet company can insert a PaperClickTM code into its print ad to lead a prospect to a specific web page that provides related details on the product or services mentioned.  Alternatively, a publisher can provide additional information, including other resources or updated content without taking up valuable print space, just by adding a PaperClick code at the end of an article.  In either case, when the reader reaches the linked web page, the information is right on the screen, eliminating a frustrating URL or site search.  The codes are read by either being scanned directly into a PC by using a bar code scanner, such as the A.T. Cross NetPenTM or the Welch Allyn Model 6180 corded wand.

License Grant
Licensor, an individual from England, will be granted a right to receive a portion of future proceeds, if any, as designated below resulting from Licensee's prosecution, development, licensing, sale and/or other disposition, and, if necessary, the enforcement of the Patents as described herein.
License Property
The Licensee completed the acquisition of four patents (as well as a pending patent application) from the Licensor, a technology leader in digital watermarking content identification, digital rights management and related technologies.

The patents relate to enabling technology for identifying media content on the Internet, such as audio and video, and taking further action to be performed based on such identification, including among others, the insertion of advertising and the facilitation of the purchase of goods and services.
