License Grant
The Company hereby grants a non-exclusive world wide license to make, have made, use, and sell the UOB-TM- and to practice the Invention for use with fuel cells and fuel cell systems Only.
License Property
Invention shall mean the invention of a UOB-TM- for producing hydrogen from virtually any hydrocarbon fuel without the use of catalysts and addition of steam although steam may have some uses down-stream and any and all improvements thereto which may hereafter be owned or controlled by Licensor, (hereafter called the UOB-TM- or Invention).

Our products provide an efficient and cost-effective way to generate hydrogen.  Our UOB-TM- technology allows for hydrogen gas generation using readily available inputs such as electricity, natural gas, and water.

We design and develop hydrogen fuel processors for fuel cell systems and industrial hydrogen generators.  Because fuel cells require hydrogen to produce electricity, the efficient and cost effective production of hydrogen for fuel cells is critical to the commercial introduction of fuel cell systems into the mass transportation and stationary markets.  We have developed and patented the Under-Oxidized Burner (UOB-TM-), an innovative technology for hydrogen production. In comparison to other means of producing hydrogen, we believe our products provide more efficiency, lower emissions, lower capital costs and greater fuel-flexibility.  Our proprietary UOB-TM- system produces hydrogen from hydrocarbon feedstocks, such as natural gas, propane, diesel and gasoline, and can be utilized as an on-site source of hydrogen in a variety of applications.

Field of Use
The rights granted apply to the fuel cell systems.

License Grant
The Canadian Licensor entered into a Licensing Agreement with the Licensee. Under the terms of the agreement, the Licensor agreed to grant licensing rights for the PyStRâ„¢ (a low cost proprietary hydrogen production technology) and gasification technology in the US.
License Property
'Technology' means the Gasification of Creosote-preserved wood that can be used in the Technology that SYNGAS has developed; which includes the PyStr technology to produce hydrogen or ethanol and is in the process of filing patent applications, and shall include any additions, changes, improvements, substitutions and modifications to the technology

Gasification is a process that converts carbonaceous materials, such as coal, petroleum, or biomass, into carbon monoxide and hydrogen by reacting the raw material at high temperatures with a controlled amount of oxygen and/or steam. The resulting gas mixture is called synthesis gas or syngas and is itself a fuel. Gasification is a very efficient method for extracting energy from many different types of organic materials, and also has applications as a clean waste disposal technique.

A new innovative hydrogen generation technology referred to as the PyStR process. PyStR, pronounced 'Pie Star,' is an acronym derived from 'Pyrolitic Steam Reforming.'  This process can directly produce high purity hydrogen from biomass and other carbonaceous feed-stocks such as oil sands, coal and petroleum coke.

IPSCIO Record ID: 29326

License Grant
The Canadian Licensor entered into a Licensing Agreement with the Canadian Licensee.  According to the Agreement, the Licensor agreed to grant licensing rights for their gasification technology, which converts waste solid fuel sources into a gaseous form, in the territory of Ontario, Canada.
License Property
Gasification is a process that converts carbonaceous materials, such as coal, petroleum, biofuel, or biomass, into carbon monoxide and hydrogen by reacting the raw material, such as house waste, or compost at high temperatures with a controlled amount of oxygen and/or steam. The resulting gas mixture is called synthesis gas or syngas and is itself a fuel. Gasification is a method for extracting energy from many different types of organic materials.

License Grant
The Company acquired an Exclusive License from Licensor, an individual, the inventor and owned of the Company for the Technology; pelletized hydride, hydrogen generating system, includes both a hydrogen generation system and a hydrogen generation pelletized fuel.  The fuel pellet is used in the hydrogen generation system and is comprised of an alkali metal and a coating of water impervious material rendering the core impervious to water.
License Property
The Technology relates to the production of hydrogen gas in a Hydrogen Generation System.  The Hydrogen Generation System is designed to produce hydrogen gas as needed to be used for whatever purpose it was intended.  The hydrogen is produced in the Hydrogen Generation System through a chemical reaction of sodium hydride with water. Key components of the Hydrogen Generation System include a tank called a Hydrogen on Demand Generator (the Tank) and fuel pellets which are made of sodium hydride.
Field of Use
Currently hydrogen is mainly utilized as a chemical component for industrial uses.  In addition, the market for hydrogen gas as a fuel source has increased as a result of many factors, including environmental concerns related to cost and environmental concerns surrounding the use of fossil fuels, increased research and development of alternative fuel sources in general, and the development of hydrogen fuel cells.
