License Grant
This licensing agreement was to grant a party the authority to develop a blended fuel addition utilizing the Biodiesel product developed and produced by the company and the ethanol product developed by the party.
Field of Use
This agreement pertains within the fuels industry.

IPSCIO Record ID: 6035

License Grant
The Executive agrees that all inventions, innovations, improvements, technical information, systems, software developments, methods, designs, analyses, drawings, reports, service marks, trademarks, trade names, logos and all similar or related information  belong, in instances where such concept, device or technique was developed internally at New NRG, Inc. is owned by New NRG, Inc.  New NRG, Inc., is focused on the production of Biodiesel.
License Property
Biodiesel is a diesel-equivalent fuel made from plant oils. Biodiesel is biodegradable and non-toxic, and produces significantly fewer emissions than petroleum-based diesel when burned. In addition to being used in diesel engines, biodiesel can also be used as a heating fuel in domestic and commercial boilers. Biodiesel can be distributed using today's infrastructure, and its use and production are increasing rapidly. Fuel stations are beginning to make biodiesel available to consumers, and a growing number of transport fleets use it as an additive in their fuel.

IPSCIO Record ID: 1705

License Grant
The Company has the right to manufacture and market an alternative fuel through a patented process.  In 1990, the Command negotiated a new license agreement which provided for a non-exclusive, perpetual and transferable license to ILP to practice the Patent anywhere in the world – December 29, 1989.
License Property
The Company has the right to utilize a patented process for a blending process for manufacturing automobile fuel from natural gasoline and octane enhancers.  Natural gasoline is the portion of natural gas which is liquid at room temperature and pressure.  The octane of natural gasoline is too low and the vapor pressure too high for use alone in standard automobile engines.  The blending process incorporates other hydrocarbons used as octane enhancers and vapor pressure stabilizers so the fuel can be used in standard gasoline engines.  A variety of hydrocarbons can be used in the blend, including toluene, xylene and ethanol.  The blended fuel meets all current requirements for use as unleaded gasoline, but has not been certified by the Environmental Protection Agency for marketing as an alternative, clean burning fuel pursuant to the mandates of the Clean Air Act of 1990, as amended.
Field of Use
The rights granted apply to automobile fuel.

IPSCIO Record ID: 29019

License Grant
The Licensee entered into a License Agreement  with an independent third party (the undisclosed Licensor), whereby each party was granted a License to make, use and sell their respective products, and to share certain technologies regarding biodiesel processor systems.

IPSCIO Record ID: 8467

License Grant
The Company of the Czech Republic entered into a License Agreement with its 30%- owned Canada subsidiary whereby the Company granted a non-exclusive license for the production and sale of products embodying or utilizing its fuel cell technology.
License Property
Licensed Articles of this contract are products embodying or otherwise utilizing the Technology, such as fuel cells, fuel cell systems and their composite parts such as fuel cell electrodes and other fuel cell or fuel cell system components, as well as other products developed or conceived by the Canadian Licensor.
Field of Use
The rights granted apply to the Technology of fuel cells.

IPSCIO Record ID: 5125

License Grant
The Company hereby grants a non-exclusive world wide license to make, have made, use, and sell the UOB-TM- and to practice the Invention for use with fuel cells and fuel cell systems Only.
License Property
Invention shall mean the invention of a UOB-TM- for producing hydrogen from virtually any hydrocarbon fuel without the use of catalysts and addition of steam although steam may have some uses down-stream and any and all improvements thereto which may hereafter be owned or controlled by Licensor, (hereafter called the UOB-TM- or Invention).

Our products provide an efficient and cost-effective way to generate hydrogen.  Our UOB-TM- technology allows for hydrogen gas generation using readily available inputs such as electricity, natural gas, and water.

We design and develop hydrogen fuel processors for fuel cell systems and industrial hydrogen generators.  Because fuel cells require hydrogen to produce electricity, the efficient and cost effective production of hydrogen for fuel cells is critical to the commercial introduction of fuel cell systems into the mass transportation and stationary markets.  We have developed and patented the Under-Oxidized Burner (UOB-TM-), an innovative technology for hydrogen production. In comparison to other means of producing hydrogen, we believe our products provide more efficiency, lower emissions, lower capital costs and greater fuel-flexibility.  Our proprietary UOB-TM- system produces hydrogen from hydrocarbon feedstocks, such as natural gas, propane, diesel and gasoline, and can be utilized as an on-site source of hydrogen in a variety of applications.

Field of Use
The rights granted apply to the fuel cell systems.

License Grant
The Licensor grants to the Licensee of England an exclusive license of the Licensor's right, title and interest in and to the Licensed Technology in the Territories in order to(i) commercialize, manufacture, use, promote, market, sell and distribute any products or services in connection with the Licensed Technology, (ii) develop, commercialize, manufacture, use, promote, market, sell and distribute any products or services in connection with any New Technology (including Improvements), (iii) develop, commercialize, manufacture, use, promote, market, sell and distribute Improvements and (iv) otherwise conduct the Business, in each case, within the Territories (collectively, the 'License').
License Property
'Business' exploiting technology in the field of petro-diesel, petrol, biodiesel, biodiesel mixtures and by-products, ethanol, ethanol mixtures and by-products, fuel additives; and, the manufacture, sale and distribution of products derived therefrom.

'Goods Sold' the motor fuel additives manufactured by or for Licensee or its affiliates, using the Licensed Technology, sold either as stand-alone products, or as component products, in each case as sold by or for Licensee or its affiliates.

'Patents' means Great Britain Patent Applications (reference numbers GB0509818.1, GB0509653.2 and GB0509649.0)

IPSCIO Record ID: 4002

License Grant
A minority member of the Company contributed Licensed intellectual property to the Company. The Company develops and commercializes new technologies to grow and harvest micro-crops used as feedstock to commercial refineries and other energy producers which results in the production of drop-in fuels. The Company's technologies and processes also result in a high valued protein co-product suitable for animal and potentially human consumption.

In the case of commercial refineries, this is expected to result in drop-in fuels such as diesel and jet fuel. When used in existing fermentation facilities, it is expected to directly result in ethanol production. When used as a feedstock for other energy producers, particularly power generators, it is a renewable input source for co-firing with fossil fuels.
