License Grant
Beginning in October 2003, the parties have been in discussions to resolve certain matters relating to the Agreement. This Amendment 2 is intended to fully resolve such matters.

The parties acknowledge that the non-exclusive license granted by Licensor to Licensee pursuant to Amendment 1 has been terminated by Licensee. Accordingly, Amendment 1 is hereby rescinded, except as stated.  With this amendment 2, the royalty has been updated.

License Property
With amendment 1, the patent identified is for Low Resistivity Photon-Transparent Window Attached to Photo-Sensitive Silicon Detector.
Field of Use
With amendment 1, Field of Use means the development, production and use of photodiodes within products to perform single photon nuclear medicine procedures.  Single photon, as used herein, means radioisotopes whose decay chain includes a primary gamma ray with energy greater than 50keV but does not include a positron emission tomography, the Non-exclusive Field of Use and all other kinds of x-ray imaging.

The Non-exclusive Field of Use means the development, production and use of photodiodes within products to perform x-ray computed tomography (CT) for medical imaging applications.  Non-Exclusive Field of Use specifically excludes the Field of Use, the use of positron emission tomography, as well as all kinds of x-ray imaging other than computed tomography for medical imaging applications.
