The Licensee has also Licensed from the Licensor, government organization, on an exclusive basis, rights to European and Japanese counterpart applications for one of the Licensor's patents. In January 2005, the Licensee and the Licensor modified the existing License such that it included, in its entirety, a total of nine issued U.S. patents.
