License Grant

The Inventor, Chairman of the Company, granted to the Company an exclusive license to Patents.

License Property

Two U.S. patents are currently licensed exclusively to us (U.S. 5,876,926 PCT/ US98/16435 and 5,897,989 PCT/US97/08015) pertain to a method, system and apparatus that permit an individual to submit biologic test specimens for medical testing under biometric identification from our Chairman.

The science of biometrics has in recent years developed the technology to take a reading from a human (such as electronic scan of a fingerprint, iris scan, facial recognition, palm print, voice sample, etc.).  The electronic scan is then matched with to the same biometric marker for purposes of recognition and verification of identity.

License Grant

The inventor, an individual & the Company's controlling shareholder, entered into an agreement granting the company the exclusive right to commercialize the invention which shall include, among other things, manufacturing and marketing the invention.

License Property

The grant covers an apparatus and method,  including related software, for scanning and storing an optical representation of a finger's capillary lines.

The del-ID technology for personal identification by means of electronic scanning of finger characteristics.

The del-ID technology permits precise and positive authentication of the identity of any living individual and is applicable to a wide range of financial transactions where authentication of the individual is necessary to eliminate fraud and other improper use of services. The del-ID system collects biological data from the finger image of the individual and transfers the image to a unique electronic signature called the 'del-gram'. The del-gram is not a digitized bitmap image of the finger, but a synthesized subset of biological data sufficient to identify the individual.

License Grant

Licensor hereby grants and conveys to Licensee, subject to the express limitations of this Agreement, a license to test, experiment with and use the First Prototype referred below and upon accepting said First Prototype and making the Production Start-up Payment called for below, a worldwide exclusive license to make, use, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the System or any component thereof in the Field of License but only in the Field of License, to use such certification mark(s), trademark(s) and/or other marking(s) on Licensed Products pursuant to Article 14, and to disclose the System to its Authorized Sources and others necessary for its practice by Licensee and its sublicensees, subject, however, to the confidentiality duty set forth.

License Property

System means Licensor’s fingerprint identification technology.

Licensed Patent Applications shall mean U.S. Application Serial No. 08/515,151, filed August 15, 1995, entitled Self-Authenticating Identification Card With Fingerprint Identification, and any and all continuations, divisions, and continuations-in-part of Application Serial No. 08/515,151. for FAA-controlled airport and airline employee security and identification systems involving a biometric fingerprint recognition card.

Field of Use

Field of License means identification, access, and security cards, associated systems and equipment of whatever type used for FAA-controlled airport and airline employee security and identification systems involving a biometric fingerprint recognition card.

License Grant

Licensor hereby grants to Licensee a perpetual sub-licensable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to make, have made, use, sell, offer for sale and import products and to practice any method under the Aellipsys Holdings Intellectual Property including but not limited to the use of the Software for the manufacture and distribution of the Products.

License Property

Licensor has developed software to be used in certain 3-D Active ID equipment.

The intellectual property has 18 patents in the field of 3D facial recognition and Active ID systems for access control and identification of individuals.

The Licensee is a technology company that is focused on products, solutions, and services that have a need for biometric secure access control.

Provides identification throughput of up to one million records in 30 seconds. Software provides high-speed matching capability for confirming live probe templates to one or more enrolled templates within the database. Automatic logging of all identification transactions.

ActiveID Identifier Plus
One-to-many Identification software plus automated enrollment software that enables insertion of an unrecognized but authorized individual into the gallery database.

ActiveID Mugshot Capture
Allows capture of front and side profile at time of enrollment for storage and export to mugshot system

ActiveID Verifier
One-to-one Verification software includes high-speed 3D biometric template extraction software and FaceVision 3D shape recognition software. Provides verification throughput of 7 seconds per ID and up to 8 ID requests per minute. Automatic logging of all verification transactions. Software provides high-speed one-to-one matching capability for confirming live probe templates to one or more enrolled templates within the enrollment database.

ActiveID Verifier Plus
One-to-one Verification software plus identification software that automatically performs a one-to-many identity search through the database after the one to one search is complete to flag duplicate Ids/aliases/imposters.
