'Licensor Patents' means any and all U.S. and/or foreign patents, continuations, divisions, provisional patent applications which cover in whole or in part the NRFR Licensed Technology
The licensed technology is the Natural Resource Fuel Reformer (NRFR) technology owned by Licensor and all current and future applications, modifications and enhancements thereto. It is a simple system that, when attached to an internal combustion engine, dramatically reduces harmful exhaust emissions and pollutants, while also increasing the efficiency of the engine performance and design. At its most basic level, the NRFR breaks down the structure of hydrocarbon fuels, together with their associated impurities, and produces a usable fuel which can then be burned with little or no pollutants.

Licensor also grants Licensee a limited exclusive right to use, and Licensee undertakes to use, pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, the trademark 'Alpha Truck Engines' in the manufacture and sale of its heavy-duty truck engines in the Field of Use.

The Eco-Engine is competitive with conventional internal combustion engines. It is based on the opposed-piston engine configuration providing much greater torque (power) production relative to its cylinder displacement than traditionally configured engines. In effect, the Eco-Engine converts thermal energy to kinetic energy more efficiently. It can run on any fuel but is particularly suited to diesel and natural gas.

Technology relates to Turbopac(TM) product lines. Turbopac applies technology similar to the Turbodyne System to make combustion more efficient in both turbocharged and non-turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines by optimizing the air to fuel ratio. The Turbopac products are designed to provide an air boost into the engine in- take manifold during the acceleration phase. Testing to date indicates that Turbopac extends the benefits of the Turbodyne System of increased engine power, reduced fuel consumption and reduced emissions to non-turbocharged vehicles. Turbopac employs a high speed, electronically controlled brushless electric motor which runs continuously once the engine has started, providing positive air intake pressure to optimize the air to fuel ratio. Turbopac essentially serves as an electronic supercharger. Turbopac can also be installed on turbocharger equipped engines. Unlike the Turbodyne System, Turbopac can be installed without the need for precision machining of a turbocharger. The Company believes that the most significant aspect of Turbopac is that it allows Turbodyne Systems to target much larger international markets because of its ability to be installed on non-turbocharged engines.

'CSRV Valve Seal' shall mean a valve seal for use with a CSRV Rotary Valve Sphere (as hereinafter defined) in the Coates Spherical Rotary Valve System.
'CSRV Rotary Valve Sphere' shall mean a spherical rotary valve used in the CSRV Valve System in accordance with the Technical Specifications.
'CSRV Components' shall mean the parts that when assembled comprise the Licensed Product.
'Coates Co-Generation System' shall mean a device consisting of an Engine linked to a Coates Generator.
'Engine' or 'Engines' shall mean all Coates internal combustion engine(s) employing the Coates Spherical Rotary Valve System.
'Generator' shall mean a Coates patented device, which produces electricity having an Engine as its power source.
'Licensed Product' shall mean the Coates Co-Generation System incorporating the Engines, the Generators, Patent Rights and/or Technical Information in its design and manufacture incorporating the components.
