These include proprietary oversampling techniques to reduce errors in distinguishing data from noise and parallel data recovery algorithms to recover data from the serial streams. In order to enable the display to recognize this data at the proper time and rate, our digital serial link technology uses a digital phase-locked loop combined with a unique phase detecting and tracking method in order to monitor the timing of the data. These circuit techniques allow for mostly digital implementation of a high speed serial link that can be manufactured using standard CMOS processes. This platform also enables the delivery of broadband digital subscriber line (DSL) technologies including discrete multitone (G.DMT), ADSL, G.Lite, HDSL, HDSL2, symmetrical digital subscriber line (SDSL), and very high data rate digital subscriber line (VDSL) (collectively referred to as 'xDSL') services to end users not served directly from a central office.  These services are supported over various feeder transmission technologies including copper, fiber, and wireless.  We also design and manufacture environmentally hardened outside plant cabinets and technology ranging from 48 to 2,000 lines, as well as indoor cabinets ranging from 48 to 480 lines.  We believe we were the first vendor to ship ADSL modules that integrate ADSL circuits, POTS circuits, and splitters onto a single ADSL x+y(TM) line card for environmentally hardened multi-service access systems.

LEOTELCOM 1 is a satellite-based, low-Earth orbit message and data communications and position determination system (the 'ORBCOMM System') that is identified by the International
Telecommunications Union.

Satellites shall mean any of the low-Earth orbit satellites comprising the constellation portion of the ORBCOMM System.

Licensor Gateway shall mean the facilities consisting of dual antenna, redundant gateway Earth stations ('GESs'), computers, displays, control consoles, communications equipment and other hardware that transport and control the flow of data and message communications and other information for the ORBCOMM System in the Territory.  An Licensor Gateway shall include one
GES and may be expanded through the addition of supplemental GESs.

Licensor Licensed Gateway Software shall have the meaning assigned thereto in the Licensor Gateway Software License Agreement.

Licensee System shall have the meaning of the Subscriber Management and Customer Support Software and associated hardware used in the ORBCOMM System with the appropriate license from CSC Intelicom, Inc.
